Health care decisions are becoming increasingly complex. Families are faced with these difficult choices during highly emotionally charged life events. In times past, a family’s primary care provider was  here to help navigate these situations; however time constraints often related to third party payors disincentivize this sort of assistance.

In over 30 years involved in healthcare I’ve been approached numerous times by friends & families to assist in giving insight in lay terms what is going on with their loved ones. My background in emergency medicine gives me a unique perspective in that I’ve interfaced with physicians in all subspecialties and can speak their language. While I’d be overstepping to give advice, I can easily  provide a dose of reality and perhaps offer reasonable expectations of the course of an illness or injury. I look forward to assisting others in their journey through these challenging situations.
