Meet The Team
Christina Pike, MHNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I am always learning. ALWAYS! My open tabs on my computer are full of journal articles I want to read. Learning brings me joy. This is partly why working in psychiatry is so rewarding. Every person is a unique opportunity for me to think creatively. Not just because everyone is different but each person wants something different. I am also willing to be wrong, learn from that, and change. I can do better, always. Just like all of you, I am constantly learning and growing. That being said I believe that there are hundreds of ways to wellness and all we need to do is find the right ones for you. I do not take a traditional view of psychiatry but instead I see it as just one of the many tools we have that contribute to overall health. My work is a collaborative mix of art and science with the understanding that the most important part of the equation is what you desire, as you are the foremost authority on the life you would like to cultivate. To help people reach their goals I use a mix of genetics, nutrition, herbs, medications, and labs. I enjoy working in collaborative environment to bring the highest quality of care possible. That means that all you have to do is bring your desire to change and your dedication to the process.
Dr. Anthony Russo MD
General Medicine
Health care decisions are becoming increasingly complex. Families are faced with these difficult choices during highly emotionally charged life events. In times past, a family’s primary care provider was there to help navigate these situations; however time constraints often related to third party payors disincentivize this sort of assistance.
In over 30 years involved in healthcare I’ve been approached numerous times by friends & families to assist in giving insight in lay terms what is going on with their loved ones. My background in emergency medicine gives me a unique perspective in that I’ve interfaced with physicians in all subspecialties and can speak their language. While I’d be overstepping to give advice, I can easily provide a dose of reality and perhaps offer reasonable expectations of the course of an illness or injury. I look forward to assisting others in their journey through these challenging situations.
